Sure Cuts A Lot Top 40

Let's keep our site in the Top 40!!!!!!

Today's Tip! - Frosting

Frosting adds a unique touch to all of your metal charms. This creates a softened look suitable for baby and grandparent scrapbooks.

To create this frosted charm look, sprinkle embossing powder and glitter on the metal charms and heat. Repeat this process again, before the item has a chance to cool. Attach the charms to your scrapbook once they cool completely.

SCAL - Sure Cuts A Lot

Does anybody out there have it?

I do, but haven't played around with it too much.  What are your thoughts?  Benefits?  Limitations?  Ease of use?

Anybody have any good Cut Files to share?

Today's Tip! - Handprints

The sweetest accents to a child's scrapbook page are handprints. Handprints are especially appreciated in baby or grandparent scrapbooks.

Cruising around the internet and found these sweet Sheet Music images that you can print from your home computer.  Simply click on the photo to enlarge it and the save it to your computer for later use (right-click on it, and click Save Image As).

Some are wedding related songs and others appealed to me visually. Use them for whatever you want, they are royalty-free.

Today's Tip! - Fake Credit Cards

What do you do with those little credit-card-style gift cards once thate are depleted?  What about the "sample" credit cards you get in the mail trying to entice you?

How about........

  • Punch holes in them and make a fabulous mini-album?
  • Use your die-cut machine to cut out a shape (stars, circles, flowers, etc.) and cover with glitter, paint, paper, or ....?
  • Add ribbon to make a Jacob's ladder?
  • If you having matching cards, make a memory game?
  • Create a piece of jewelry?
