Magazine Subscription...... Scrapbook Trends

I'm so excited!!!  Got an early Christmas present last week!!!!!!

My Dad got me a subscription to Scrapbook Trends and I can't wait to start receiving them.  I've often referred to and enjoyed this magazine, so look forward to receiving them on a regular basis for a while.

AND with the subscription, I get the Christmas Village Cricut Cartridge!!!!!

Ah..... Monday is behind us and fun times ahead.

Tonight is dinner and craft night so I hope to work on a project or two.  So many projects on the go......

While I didn't get any scrapbooking done this weekend, I did manage to clear up some other projects, plan some future ones, and even develop some thoughts about others.  What I would call a very productive day, yesterday.

Do you have plans for World Cardmaking Day coming up?  I have a few other things I have to get done, but hope to sneak in some card making, as well!!!!

Catch Up Post

Okay, a lot has been going on and I've not had much time to post.  I apologize.

Some family issues and lots of visiting has been fun but had kept me hopping and very busy.

A small water leak in the basement (luckily my craft room escaped pretty much unscathed) meant clearing everything out of the closet, ripping up carpet, digging up the front garden, my wonderful hubby working to find the problem, and fix it.  (Great job, 'hon).

Busy, busy but all is back on track and since the closet is now ripped apart, we will redesign and make it a better and more useable space.

Went to a Scrapbooking Garage Sale last weekend and got some GREAT deals.  Working to get my scrapbooking space all organized and functional..... watch for updated photos soon.

World Card Making Day on Saturday, October 2nd

Paper Crafts magazine celebrates the connections handmade cards create and kicks off the holiday card-making season. This day is set aside to offer card makers fun and inspiring environments in which to create by providing card ideas, tips, sweepstakes and ways to connect through store events, classes, group activities and/or individual card making. Annually, the first Saturday in October.

Do you have plans?  Will you get together with friends?  Attend a crop or event?

I don't have any plans yet.  Suggestions?

Cricut Cartridge List

I just did some updates to the Cricut Cartridges List..... holy cow!  There are a LOT now!!

Today's finished project.... a baby hat

Today I finished knitting a very cute little gray baby hat.  I like the way it turned out.

Maybe I should move on to adult-sized hats?  LOL

Wooohooo...... I scrapbooked last night

I only got two pages completed, but they turned out good.  Will post photos soon.
